Our dreams come true…Adam is a renowned Dominos delivery driver who reaches out after months of us sending audio love notes to him via the podcast.  We invite him into the studio to learn about the life of a 2nd generation delivery driver and it’s everything we hoped it would be and more.  For the record: the sign he’s holding reads “Yes, effinb it’s really me.”

The magnificent Katie Bell has a resume that won’t quit. This Per Se alum went on to be the Service Director of Blue Hill, opened USGH’s Untitled and is currently the GM of Agern NYC.  She joins the gang in the studio to talk  service included and why the Danes do it better.  We learn about a new lipgloss that’s pricey but worth it and re-hash a super fancy party.

Tenured Moe’s Crosstown Tavern Bartender: Matt Caughey joins us in the studio to tell us why he’s hanging up his apron after over a decade of making drinks at the iconic Charleston Dive bar. Trey calls and we discover a new kid-friendly restaurant.

Harry Root is BACK to sit in for our precious puppy Phil. We interview German grape-farmer: Johannes Leitz and wine importer Kevin Pike of Schatzi Wines. The gang finds a new way to start your morning fresh even with a hang-over and  you’re going to need it after all the Charleston Wine + Food Festivities. Chin Chin!

Phil is BACK at it just in time to interview his beautiful wife’s bosses. WORKSTEAD  (the awe-inspiring husband and wife duo-designer’s behind The Wythe Hotel, BK and The Dewberry Hotel, CHS) is in the studio reminding us that we could never be that fucking chic. No matter what. OH and we may or may not have found a way to end the staffing crisis..check it.

It’s a VALENTINE’S SPECIAL (yeah we know it was on Tuesday..)! The super-star Chelsea Damewood sits in for Phil and the gang discusses why Big Mac’s and sex don’t mix..unless they do. Two of The Park Cafe’s finest (Xan and Mike Morris) stop by the studio and love is in the air, people!

Lindsay, Phil and Nikki interview the magnificent Ted of Ted’s Butcher Block and learn about a magical place called “Hank’s Starlight Lounge”.  We chat growing up in a restaurant in New Jersey during the 70’s and it’s super meaty…

Sam Gabrielli (The illustrious Bar Manager at Proof) returns to make everyone feel less weird about Amaro.  We drink Ti Punch and chronicle popular post shift drinks from the year 2000 and beyond.  It’s magnificent (and maybe a little fuzzy…)

Lindsay, Nikki and Phil explain why reptiles can’t love you and how buying breastmilk can be risky.  The fungus-hunting Claire Smith (who also farms at Spade and Clover Garden) joins us to explain how waiting tables drove her into the forest in search of inner peace. It’s pure mushroom madness. Shout out to the beautiful oyster mushroom attached to a huge bag of weird white stuff, (pictured above) you’re gorgeous.
